The building had lead paint and they did not tell me this until I showed up on my move in day and they sprung an extra consent form on me to sign which I didn't think was very transparent. The maintenance guy shows up without calling and leaves the door unlocked. Also I was out of town for 4 days and got back the night after the annual rental inspection to find that the $200 in twenties I left on my table had shrunk to just $80 dollars. I insisted that I had diligently counted my money and no one else had a key but the maintenance guy of course did not admit to taking it. He had been extremely rude in the past; I had a damaged vehicle parked in my spot in back that I was waiting to fix after the semester and he told me I had to move it because it was inoperable and according to him I couldn't store an inoperable vehicle there for more then 72 hours. I told him to call the city of Bloomington to verify what the local laws were for the legal time limit to leave a temporarily inoperable car parked in a private lot, in a spot that I paid for, and he refused to do so and yelled on the phone when I refused to move it. A week later I noticed my car was keyed. I don't trust him yet I'm forced to believe that he isn't malicious towards tenants and that he simply 'let my money blow out the window'. For the reference of others his name rhymes with Rat. If you rent from Class Act keep your money put up and run a security camera. There are ample reasons why class act has 2.X stars.
