NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State athletic department, in partnership with the Town of Normal, has announced a new preseason men's and women's basketball event, Ballin' on Beaufort, held on a blocked-off East Beaufort Street between the circle and Linden Street in Uptown Normal on Thursday, October 19. Happy hour for the free event (which replaces Hoopfest) will begin at 5:00 p.m., and at 6:30 p.m. the program will begin with player introductions and contests to follow on an Illinois State-specific temporary court installed on East Beaufort Street.
