NORMAL, Illinois (WMBD) – In a battle of first-place teams in the KCL, the Normal Ground Sloths defeated the Peoria Merchants 7-6 at the Corn Crib. Normal led 7-1 in the late innings, but was able to stave off a furious comeback attempt from Peoria.
